• My Timmy

        I have some pets. However, my favourite pet is Timmy.

     Timmy is a male tabby cat. He is very adorable with his soft stripes fur. He has innocent round eyes and feeble sweet voice. He always meows when I come home, he usually give me a kiss.

       Timmy is a nice playmate. I’m so happy to spend my time with him. Most of the time, he’s a good cat. It’s almost impossible for me to be angry at him. In the morning, he always wakes up early. When he wakes up earlier, he waits quality by my bedside until I wake up.

• Bali

             Bali is situated between the island of Jawa the west and the island of Lombok to the east. This island is widely regarded by visitors as the ultimate island. 

       Bali is 145 km long and 80 km wide. When people come to Bali's capital city,Denpasar, its well worth to visit Bali National Museum. Most of the exhibits now have labels in English explaining their history, origin and significance. Visiting Pasar Badung is also recommended. It is known as the town's largest market, housed in a three-storey building. Visitors can buy unique handicrafts in reasonable prices.

              Bali also known for its beaches. Bali's most popular beaches are Kuta, Legian, and Jimbaran Beach. Kuta and Legian Beaches are paradise for surfers and famous for their funky nightlife zone. Jimbaran Beach, on the other hand, is quiet and tranguil. Many visitors are very excited to see sunset in these stunning beaches.

• Rafflesia Arnoldi
  
        It's Rafflesia Arnoldi which grows in the forest of Bengkulu exactly in Taba Penanjung. It is a rare flower is well known because of the size of the flower's petals and the smell of rotten meat that gives out.
          Its large can grow to 3 meters in diameter and weigh up to 11 kilograms. It does not have any leaves, stem, or roots. Because of lacking of clorophyls, this plant can not photosynthesize making it a parasite, living on other plants nutririon. The flower has five red petals and has white spots, which surrounds the middle of the flower much like a hole. At the base of the flower there is a part which has needles and contains the reproduction parts of the flower.
             Rafflesia Arnoldi reproduces with by the help of flies that are attracted to the flowers smell (which some observes say smell much like bad meat and rotten eggs mixed). The flower only lasts for five seven days in a year and then dies.

Sembelit (Konstipasi)

Konstipasi atau sering disebut sembelit adalah kelainan pada sistem pencernaan di mana seorang manusia (atau mungkin juga pada hewan) mengalami pengerasan tinja yang berlebihan sehingga sulit untuk dibuang atau dikeluarkan dan dapat menyebabkan kesakitan yang hebat pada penderitanya. Konstipasi yang cukup hebat disebut juga dengan obstipasi. Dan obstipasi yang cukup parah dapat menyebabkan kanker usus yang berakibat fatal bagi penderitanya.

J Pencegahan

§  Jangan jajan di sembarang tempat.

§  Hindari makanan yang kandungan lemak dan gulanya tinggi.

§  Minum air putih minimal 1,5 sampai 2 liter air (kira-kira 8 gelas) sehari dan cairan lainnya setiap hari.

§  Olahraga, seperti jalan kaki (jogging) bisa dilakukan. Minimal 10-15 menit untuk olahraga ringan, dan minimal 2 jam untuk olahraga yang lebih berat.

§  Biasakan buang air besar secara teratur dan jangan suka menahan buang air besar.

§  Konsumsi makanan yang mengandung serat secukupnya, seperti buah-buahan dan sayur-sayuran.

§  Tidur minimal 4 jam sehari.

J Pengobatan

Pengobatan dan peredaan konstipasi secara alami dapat dilakukan dengan pengubahanpola makan menjadi lebih sehat, rajin berolahraga, memijat perut, minum air putih sebanyaknya, meminum minuman prebiotik dan probiotik, atau membiasakan diri untuk buang air besar setiap hari dengan membuat jadwal buang air besar yang disebut bowel training.

Sedangkan dengan cara sedikit dipaksa yang biasanya untuk penderita obstipasi, yaitu dengan mengonsumsi obat pencahar disebut laksatif (yang kadang-kadang menyebabkan perut terasa melilit berlebihan, tinja berbentuk cair, atau bahkan ketergantungan obat pencahar), penghisapan tinja atau feses dengan alat khusus, terapiserat, dan pembedahan (walaupun pilihan ini cukup jarang dilakukan).

Agar penderita konstipasi dapat cepat sembuh, maka penderita dilarang:

§  Menahan buang air besar

§  Mengkonsumsi makanan siap saji dan bersifat panas

§  Makan dalam porsi yang banyak

§  Meminum minuman yang berkafein dan minuman ringan

J Penyebab

Konstipasi atau sembelit adalah keluhan pada sistem pencernaan yang paling umum dan banyak ditemui di masyarakat luas termasuk di sekitar kita. Bahkan diperkirakan sekitar 80% manusia pernah mengalami konstipasi atau sembelit. Penyebab umum konstipasi atau sembelit yang berada disekitar kita antara lain:

§  Kekurangan cairan tubuh atau dehidrasi.

§  Menderita panas dalam.

§  Stres atau depresi dan aktivitas yang cukup padat.

§  Pengaruh hormon dalam tubuh (misalnya karena menstruasi).

§  Usus kurang elastis (biasanya karena sedang dalam masa kehamilan atau usia lanjut).

§  Kelainan anatomis pada sistem pencernaan.

§  Gaya hidup dan pola makan yang kurang teratur (seperti diet yang buruk).

§  Efek samping akibat meminum obat yang mengandung banyak kalsium atau alumunium (misalnya obat antidiare, analgesik, dan antasida).

§  Kekurangan asupan vitamin C dan kekurangan makanan berserat.

§  Merupakan gejala penyakit (misalnya tifus dan hernia).

§  Sering menahan rangsangan untuk buang air besar dalam jangka waktu yang lama.

§  Emosi, karena orang yang emosi atau cemas ususnya kejang, sehigga pertaltik usus terhenti dan usus besar menyerap kembali cairan feses. Akibatnya feses menjadi semakin keras.

§  Jarang atau kurang berolahraga.
